Frequently asked questions

Do Phu Quoc tours include hotel pickup?

Most do, from hotels in Duong Dong, Long Beach and the south; some charge extra or exclude the far north. Check the pickup area on the booking page, especially if you stay at Bai Dai or Ganh Dau.

How far ahead should I book?

In the dry season, a few days ahead for the popular small-group snorkelling trips and evening shows; around Tet (Lunar New Year) and other holidays, earlier. In the rainy season you can often book the day before.

What happens if the sea is too rough?

Operators cancel or change boat trips when conditions are unsafe — most often between May and October. Most GetYourGuide products offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before; check each listing and keep a spare day.

Are entrance fees included?

It depends on the product. Island landing fees, cable car tickets and park entries are included in some tours and not in others; the “includes” list on each booking page is the reference.
